Deb- Thanks again for performing with your band at our “Groove For A Cause” on Saturday night. Everyone had an incredible time and were still talking about it all day yesterday! It’s a sure bet that you have many new fans after this weekend… the setlist was great, you masterfully read the crowd!! Hope to see you and the band around town soon. Love your music!!

Seriously? FUN????We had a ball! We love to dance, and we loved your music.
Elaine wanted to dance so badly, but she was attached to her chemo machine (in her satchel). She loved the music so much. She asked me for your info because she belongs to the Countryside committee (on Davis...near Santa Barbara...in Naples). I was so happy that she and her husband came that night. It changed her attitude and erased ALL depression. And Roy (her husband) plays piano, so he was watching INTENTLY.
You were concerned about my mom hating your music? First of all, let's start from the beginning. My mom and dad went dancing every week at Hamilton Park (that's how I learned to dance). My mom and dad went to all the shows at The Palace in the 40's and 50's. My dad was an Inkspot groupie. He drove them back and forth to New York. I have a great story...One weekend the Inkspots wanted my father to hangout in NY with them. My mother had other plans. She told him if he went, she would break off their engagement! He did...she did. The Inkspots called my mother and sang to her over the phone and begged her to take my father back. She said no and hung up the phone! For over a year, my mom lost weight and took all their money they saved and bought outfits. Every day, she would prance by the place my dad hung out just to scootch him. I WISH I HAD HER BALLS!!!!!! He came back crawling...and that's why I am here to tell the tale! For years,my mom listened to me sing Janis Joplin, Patty Labell, Carol King, The Plattters, etc FOREVER. She loves ALL music. If you played "MORE THAN YOU'LL KNOW"....she would have danced with me. My Mom and Dad drove me to New Haven to dance on CT Bandstand. We are a MUSIC family.
Seriously....we all had a grand time. Thank you. Hopefully, we will see you in August....or sooner. |

Dear Deb,
Thank you again for a fabulous performance. You and your band are simply our favorite and you both excite and WOW any crowd. You did a great job for us and made the event terrific. Thank You!

Deb & Dynamics,
About 8 years ago on a beautiful autumn night in Florida. I was looking for a fun place to go listen to live music & dance. I stumbled upon Bert's Bar in Matalacha, FL where you happened to be playing. With Deb's vocals raw with emotion, sexy & raspy, the Sax elegantly swooning that sweet, joyful soul and Ohh the Bass & keyboard Devine... I fell in love that night. I have to say, Deb & Dynamics are the only band I go see in town!
My friend was managing restaurant/bar "leapin' lizards" when he asked me if I knew of any good local bands. Of course, I said! I took him to hear you play & the next thing I knew my favorite band was playing all over town! I am thrilled to know that so many can enjoy your music & fall in love as I did!
We are fortunate enough to live in paradise but you haven't experienced anything until you spend a beautiful Florida autumn night with Deb & Dynamics! Paradise never sounded so sweet & it is now complete!
Thank you all for your love of music & undying dedication to your fans! We love you all!

Deb: We stayed at the Sun Seekers in North Fort Myers last month. We were lucky to hear your band on Saturday night January 26th. We are from Mauston Wisconsin and wish your band lived closer to the "Tundra" . I am an avid blues fan and knew it was going to be a good night of music after the opening couple of songs. I said to my wife I wonder if they have a CD for sale? Sure enough you announced later in the evening they were for sale. I am now back here in zero degree temps and jammin to the 3 cds I bought that night. I have to say it was money well spent you have a great band! I haven't completely listened to all of them but one of my favorite songs of that night was Mustang Sally. Will that be on a future cd? We plan to return to the park again next January. I'll will watch the band site for a new cd might have to buy it before next winter. Keep up the great work you are all wonderful entertainers. Bill and Deanna Rose

Hey, Deb-
I had a friggin' blast with you and the band last night as Elwood Blues (or is it Jake?) whoever the skinny one was, doing Soul Man.
What a charge!
I will not be able to make Doc Ford's today-I got something else going on. You can damn guarantee I'll be at one of the next gigs.
You guys ROCK. You bring so much joy to people's hearts through your music.
Daniel

|
You guys are awesome and I love the music you play. You have soul and
funk! What about playing some Bill Withers - like "Use Me" and some
James Brown, "get up offa that thing" and "drive that funky soul" - you
guys would kill it and they aren't songs you hear anyone really play. I
live on Fort Myers Beach and see you at Doc's and Holiday Inn and
totally thought of you when I listen to those songs. Thanks for taking
my email and see you soon!

I cannot remember seeing a better performance and crowd pleaser than the music Rondi and I saw yesterday at Doc Fords in Ft Myers. Everybody was on the dance floor including all ages. Deb and her band are IT when it comes to live music in SW Fl. She has also recently been invited to the Pine Island and Bonita Springs music festival. They are in my opinion a perfect fit for our Seafood Festival. Their local following is only about an hour away and could bring some party people to our festival. Please contact her and at least checkout her music.

I was was in Ft. Myers Beach on vacation from the west coast and was lucky enough to see you and The Dynamics perform. Help! What is the name of the opening song you did. Following is the URL for the YouTube video it. Y'all were great!

Hi Deb (and your dynamic band)!
I have been in SW Florida for 3 years. I have heard your name around town, but have never seen
you perform. I was at the Jazz entertainment at Tarpon Point Marina I was not aware you and your band were on the list of performers.
I am sure glad you were, I was truly impressed! You are fantastic Musicians as well as entertainers… and I have to say you’re keyboard player was quite entertaining…
as we were fortunate enough to be in the front row to have the total view!
You are a musical asset to SW Florida!!
See you soon,

Hi Deb,
We should be thanking you! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding so spectacular - you have no idea how many people have called, emailed, etc. and told us that you made the wedding reception "perfect" - you engaged the audience and did a wonderful job with "Running On Faith" - it is my favorite Clapton song and I was thrilled that you learned it for us.
On a personal note, you are easy to work with and a very savvy terrific business woman! what a pleasure and a breath of fresh air you are!
BTW, we had a wonderful time at Bert's (even tho you weren't there!) - the service was outstanding and everyone enjoyed themselves immensely -
see you soon! and thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!!!!

Hi Deb (and the Dynamics!)
I just wanted to drop you a line and say that Craig and I can't thank you enough for the absolutely wonderful show that you performed at our party this past Saturday. It was so much fun! We have both been asked a number of times "How did you get such a great band to play at your party??". Our friends and family can't stop talking about your amazing talent and are already looking at your schedule to see where they can catch you performing around the area. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Deb,
Just wanted to drop a note to say thank you so much for your performance yesterday. It was my first trip to the Pine Island Festival, but it will certainly not be my last. In the midst of an extremely talented line up your band stole the show. The energy and chemistry put forth from the opening note to the end of your set left me with a case of perma-grin that is still with me this Sunday morning. I purchased your live C.D. Yesterday and plan on turning on everyone who will listen. If there is a recording or video of yesterday's set I would love to get my hands on it.
Sincerely,
Christian Werner

Hi Deb,
Just wanted to let you know that I received the cd's today. I was so excited
that you sent me 2. I am playing them right now. That was very nice of you.
I am a Pa fan of yours. My husband and I saw you last year the stone crab
festival and we thought you and the dynamics were awesome, so we looked to
see if you were playing this year because we are going to be in Fl again
during the time of the festival this year too and was very glad to see that
you were.
I then looked to see if you had a web site and :-) there it was your own web
site! So that is how I happened to order the cd.
So you can count on some Pa fans being there........Can't wait.
See you then!

Deb/Band:
We were at your show at Bert's Bar in Matlacha last week, and we had to leave early. I am so sorry, because I enjoyed your show so much. What entertainment! I am currently living in Marion, Indiana, and we were visiting my mother-in-law for two weeks. I can't wait to go back next year. You guys have so much "spunk" and enthusiasm, that it is contagious. Nick was awesome on the drums. I am not a drum player, but I can enjoy the talent of others. Thanks for the great show, Deb, and can't wait to see you guys again. Keep up the good work!

Hi Deb,
Thanks so much for arranging for us to to have a table at Bert's Bar last Thursday. My sister and her husband (Barb & Peter) are huge fans of yours and seeing you again at Bert's Bar was at the top of their wish list when they came to visit Richard and I on vacation (from Wisconsin) this past week.
My brother inlaw, Peter Egan has traveled all over the world as an editor for Road and Track and Cycle World magazines and he says that you and your band are some of the finest music he has ever heard.
Peter also has been in a local blues band (the Defenders) in Madison, WI for the last 20 years. He plays lead guitar and sings as well. Anyway, he has a deep appreciation for what you do.
Attached are the photos I took of your family when I was at Bert's Bar. I wish I would have had the flash on, but I didn't. Oh well.
I sent a CD with some really good pictures of you and the band from the Blues Fest at the German American Club last fall. I didn't know where to mail it and so sent it to the Hookers with your name on it. I hope you got it. Let me know if you didn't and I can make another CD for you.

I was at her wedding and am coming to Florida November 23
through November 29th, and I enjoyed your band so much I was hoping
you were playing somewhere near Ft. Myers while I am there visiting.
Could you let me know so we can come hear you again? I sang in a band
when I was young, and I have to say, you are one of the best I’ve ever
heard! Thank you!

Deb,
I got the pleasure of watching you perform with your band last Sat. at Mango Mania, and I found myself short of words wanting to describe how your music, energy, and your overall talent made me feel that afternoon. YOU ARE SIMPLY AN AWESOME TALENTED GIRL.
The entire band is plentiful of talented musicians and I really appreciated their individual performance and endless energy. Your repertoire of tunes transported me to the era when music ruled. Just for reference, I was the "Latino" guy who was standing to the side of the stage.
I am an avid -live- music lover myself and a guitar - amateur - player since the age of 14, but above all I am a 60's & 70's freak, I live in Tampa, but I travel down to Cape Coral / Pine Island every week (or 10 days) to visit family (Mom in Cape Coral and sister in Pine Island). I just admire a talented woman who can play guitar and sing the music I grew up with, but my skin got the chills when I saw you playing the base guitar (not an easy task for me any way) and to sing at the same time, GIVE ME A BREAK GIRL !! You are an angel in disguise. Keep up the awesome work you do, DO NOT BURN OUT PLEASE!! - Musicians are a special bread and their sacrifices are not nearly rewarded for what they put into - CONTINUE GIVING US THE GIFT OF YOUR TALENT AND THE MUSIC WE ALL LOVE!! For ever fan. Please forgive me for the long e-mail

Been in the business a long time and have booked a lot of entertainment. Deb & The Dynamics deliver a great show, are on time and they are professional. Deb & The Dynamics have been playing (having fun) at Bert’s for several years. They keep the show fresh and update their material on a regular basis. Good sounds, good vibes, good business.
Bernard (Bert's Bar Owner) |

Our friends, Jack & Beth, took Linda and me to see the band at Porto Bello's in January, and we enjoyed the performance and the material
so much. It was cold enough that night that they had to turn the
heaters on, but things warmed right up when you guys started playing.
I got to chat a minute with Rick and Deb as I bought a CD which we
have enjoyed a lot. I suggested to Deb that the band do "Call On Me"
(not to be confused with "Down On Me" from the same album). The
Joplin/Big Brother version would fit your style so well. We are now
back in cold SE Ohio, but the next time we get to Pine Island, we
will plan to watch you again. Keep up the good work!
Best regards,
Larry Mitchell, Athens, OH |

Thanks for the wonderful time at Bert’s-from what I remember it was the best I have had in along time. The band rocked! We all had a wonderful time singing and dancing. Robin enjoyed it when you all sang Happy Birthday to her. This was the first time I heard Deb sing in many, many years. She is the bomb-getting better as the years go by. I can’t wait to come back to FL and my first destination will be to hear your band. Hope to see you all soon.

Long time, no see!! This is Chris Cothran from Tennessee. Used to see you jam twice a week @ Bert's. I miss all of you, and I can't wait to return to the island to hear your magic. Moved back home to TN in '06-just took a job with American CruiseLines, serving as a deckhand aboard the American Spirit!!! Cruising the Hudson through the end of next week, afterwards we'll sail through Baltimore, from there the Carolinas, ending on Jacksonville December 27th. I'll be visiting the island soon after. Visited your website & was astonished at all the information you've compiled! Just learned you've released two more cd's which I have yet to hear, one of which a live jam recorded @ Bert's some enchanted evening? YEAH!!!! Let's keep in touch |

I just can't say enough of how I enjoy your shows. Every time I see you guys play, it feels like an event. Very entertaining!
Being straight or after a few drinks, it doesn't matter, I feel like DANCING LIKE THERE IS NO ONE WATCHING!

Hallo Deb
We met you in Fort Myers beach 1/8 justa after you had played for the evening. Sorry we came very late, so we couldn´t hear so much. But, we bought a CD from you, which we played many times, when we traveled around in USA with New Orleans and Memphis. We belong to your fan club now, and hope you come to Stockholm again.

The wife and I caught you folks at the Ragged Ass Saloon last Sunday while out riding and I must say that I was pretty damn impressed (this coming from a metal head at that btw! ;) .
Thanx for the great tunes and excellent stage presence which brought a bit more life than the usual bands one may see performing to a smaller crowd!
Loved every minute of you folks and hope to catcha' another time very soon!

Hi Deb and crew. How are ya? Just wanted to thank you for making my visit to the Ft. Myers area recently a great one. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!! I was only there a week and I am already a groupie....hahahahaha. Looking forward to seeing you all (expecially that HOT sax player from Pittsburgh) in September. I am curious why he is in your band's picture but, his bio is not listed. But, I guess he is just a best kept secret.....lol. Please keep in touch. I get to Ft. Myers quite often so, I will keep track of your schedule. Please write back when you get a moment....I 'd love to hear from you guys. Thanks again for making my trip a memorable one.
Talk to you soon....take care.
Stacy from Philadelphia |

I just have to tell you that you guys are the best! I’ve heard you play several times at Pinchers on Ft. Myers Beach and you’re amazing. I brought my 81 year mom, who was visiting me from Chicago, to listen to the band when she was here in February and she loved your music! You sure can get a crowd up on its feet. My brother & sister in law come down at least five times a year from up north and they never miss an opportunity to come & listen to you on FMB. Thanks for the great mix of music.

Hi Rick,
I am sure you don't remember me, but I met you at Bert's Bar one Thursday night. My husband and I were with Mary and Barry Finver. I was very impressed with your band so I passed along your name to my boss Al Kinkle since he is such a huge Janis Joplin fan. He saw your show last Friday and is interested in booking you here at our country club.
I hope everything comes together.
Thanks for the schedule.

Duane and I want to thank you all so much for making our wedding day the party of the year!!! From you singing Etta James’s At Last on the beach while I came down the aisle to the second encore of Bobbi McGee, you far exceeded our expectations. It was such a fantastic day we had so much fun with you there, every one danced and sang along. In fact, I don’t even think the sun came out until you got there. I am still getting comments on how much fun people had and how great the band was.
We could not have enjoyed our wedding day more!!! It was a hot hot hot day as I am sure you will agree and if it weren’t for the great music I am positive a lot of our guests would have left much earlier. The songs kept coming and we didn’t want to sit down. I think I lost 10 pounds dancing. You played even when the rain came and under the threat of being pushed in the pool. People who couldn’t make the wedding have told us they heard how incredible the reception was and are so sorry they missed it!!! I know Jeff from Rum Runners saw you there and has booked you for their Grand Opening in November and we are fighting over who is going to book you after that. Hopefully you won’t get too big and forget us little people. Ha-ha!!!
We truly appreciate all you did and like to think we hired a band and gained 5 friends!!!
Every time we see you out we relive our wedding day. This is still a good thing!!!
Love ya

Whoa! That is ONE kick-ass band! I love the CD - listening to it takes the sting out of bill-paying this morning! Great energy! I didn't want it to end! You must be having a blast! Thanks so much for sending the CD! I wish I could get you guys to come and play here! Any thoughts of doing a tour? The whole package is great - can't wait to see/hear the next release.

Just a quick note to say that I thought the band was really smokin' last
night at Bert's Bar! My friend Barbara was very
impressed with your singing as well as everyone else's performance in the
band last night. Lil Barb sings at karaoke and is a good friend of my
fiancée Ingrid who will be coming over from Stuttgart Germany around the
middle of July if all goes according to plan.
I'm looking forward to seeing y'all again real soon!
Russ
PS: Good vibes there at Bert's Bar! I've met some real friendly people
every time I've come there. It's a 100 mile round trip from Arcadia, but
your music and the friendly fun atmosphere at Burt's make it all worth
while! |

Deb,
Linaya and I had a great time listening to you guys the past two weeks. Remember me? I'm the one that always comes in and asks if the band is any good. You know. good looking guy with a gray goatee like your husband and Graham. Linaya is the blonde who is in the Hookers with you and has tons of Cindy's jewelry.
We left Ragged Ass at 6 when you finished Sunday. We drove home to Delaware and arrived at 11 pm on Monday. What we will not do to see the Dynamics! (smile)
We can not wait to move down to Matlacha full time (June 07), Maybe you will employ me to pass around the bucket! smile Tell Rick I am not passing the bucket anymore until he puts our pictures on the website! smile.
You guys keep practicing and you are going to be a pretty good band! (smile) See ya in November.

Hi Deb,
We saw your show last Thursday night at Bert’s Bar on Pine Island. We were the big group from Miami visiting our cousin that has a place there.... I appreciate the autographed CD and have included it in our music library here at the agency. Our creative department enjoys good sounds and all have given me positive feedback!!!
You have a great voice and the band sounds real good too... I look forward to getting back to the area again soon with out the kids so we can let our hair down and enjoy another few sets with you.
Do you have any plans to work in the Miami area any time soon?? If you do please let me know and I’ll be sure to get a group together......
Thanks and regards,

Hey! Caught Deb and the Dynamics for the first time at Bert's, Thursday night Sept. 7th, and WOW! was blown away! Been around along long time and heard many a band in our days, but came away so, so, impressed. Best of luck to y'all, from sunny Ohio.

Dear Deb,
My husband and I came many times to see you and the Dynamics at the
Holiday Inn on Ft. Myers Beach (we lived within walking distance) and
I must tell you we both enjoyed coming to see you immensely. In fact,
we brought gangs of our friends and everyone always had a blast! Last
spring, we even brought our 12 year old grandson and you let him play
the tambourine during your entire performance and you totally made his
vacation one he will never forget!
Last month, on Oct.4th, my wonderful husband Mani died after a 11
month battle with cancer. It has been devastating, to say the least,
however, in honor of Mani, I am going to have a "Celebration of Mani's
Life" party at the Barefoot Boat Club at 5025 Bonita Beach Rd. on
Hickory Bay. It is a delightful place and since Mani loved being on
the water (usually in his offshore scarab boat) I thought it a fitting
place for celebrating his life. It will be on January 12th, and since
he absolutely loved going over to the Holiday Inn every Friday night
and listening and dancing to your performances, I wondered what your
schedule is for that date?
I can imagine that you are probably booked, but wanted to try and see
if possibly you could perform for us for a couple of hours. |
|
YOU GUYS WERE FANTASTIC!!! Thanks for making the evening so memorable.
We loved you!!!! |
