June 2010

We will back at The Joint again in late August after our vacation. We will not be playing at Castaways again until October so currently our Tuesdays are open except the last Tuesday of June the 29th at "Nirvanna" 1901 College Parkway in Ft. Myers. 

May 2010

 The make up rain date for the  Fort Myers Blues Festival  is on Sunday 5/16.  We are scheduled to begin around 5:PM Please come to the concert and support the blues, and we'll hope for decent weather together!  We will playing a few new venues this month and hope you will check us out and support the new clubs.  We finally have found a place to play in Downtown Ft. Myers, it is called "The Spot" and we will be there on alternating Saturdays beginning 5/15.  "The Spot" is located at 2213 Main St.  We also will be playing at "Ale Mary's" on Wednesday 5/19 for the first time. "Ale Mary's" is located at 16440 S. Tamiami Trial (US 41).  We will be back at Jimmy B's on Ft. Myers Beach for alternating Saturdays beginning 5/8.

April 2010

Our new CD "Too Much Soul To Control"  is selling well and we'd like to thank those of you who have purchased it. We will be headlining the Fort Myers Blues Festival  again this year on 4/18.  Please come to the concert and support the blues.  We will go on around 5:PM but there will be great bands on all day long.  We also be playing the Taste of Estero on 4/25 at 3:30PM.  On the same day we will be performing at a function at the Center Of The Arts on McGregor/Colonial beginning at noon.

March 2010

Well friends & fans the new CD "Too Much Soul To Control"  will be available in late March. It was recorded live at the Edison Parade and contains many of your favorite songs.  We'll have them at the shows shortly and they'll be for sale on the website soon.  Saturday nites are now at Castaways on Estereo Blvd so please tell all your friends and help us turn that into the best Saturday evening in town!!

February 2010

Well season is officially here and the crowds are getting larger.  Be sure to make reservations so you can get a table !!!   Check us out in March as we play Saturday Nights at Castaways on Estero Blvd from 8 PM til Midnite.

January 2010

The New Year kicked off in style with a wonderful party at Pelican Preserve.  The people were great and tore up the dance floor  & really let the good times roll.  We have added some Saturdays at Pinchers on Saturday nights and hope all of you that enjoy Friday nites so much will come back for more rockin on Saturdays!  

December 2009

The December Portobello dates have been canceled. The Dec 9th Wednesday has been moved to the Tiki Bar in Cape Coral.  Remember we are playing some Saturdays at Pinchers on Ft. Myers Beach now too. Check our Schedule

November 2009

Check us out at Castaways every Tuesday night. It's located on Estero Blvd.  We played at the Pine Island Blues Festival on November 16th and really enjoyed it.  IT was another great production by the Mariners.

October 2009

Newt is back from his European vacation and has shown us some great pictures and shared some cool stories.  We played for close to 30'000 Bikers in Sebring on the 3rd at the 6th Annual Heartland Bike Run.  What a great event that is!  If you dig bikes and missed it this year, we'll be ther next year and so should you! There have been several new dates added to the Schedule . Be sure to check it out. We are now playing Tuesday nights at Castaways on Estero Blvd, and we have also returned to the Sandy Parrot for some dates.  We are looking forward to seeing you all there. The last two Fridays of this month we will be playing some private events and will be unable to play at Pinchers on the Beach.  Don't worry we'll pick up there right where we left off  when November rolls around.  Party with us Halloween weekend first at the Belltower Shops Courtyard on Friday Night, and then we'll be up in Tampa at the Woods RV Resort on Halloween Night.  Summer is almost over and things we'll be cooling off again, so be prepared to boogie with band all winter & spring! We love you guys!!!!

September 2009

Most of us are back from vacation now, except for Newt who is still on his European adventure. He will be rejoining the band on September 11th. Craig Chistman has been doing a fantastic job on sax in his place. Nick Longobardi began playing with us again at Leapin Lizards on 8/25.  It's great to have "The Stick" back!  BTW check out Leapin Lizards on Tuesday nights as it is now Bike Nite on those nights. We play from 8 PM til Midnite.

Our fans loved us at Alli Gators on Colonial during our first date there on 8/27.  We will be there on every Wednesday from 7 til 11PM. This is a nice place, tell your friends, we think you'll really like it!!!  We will be playing a new venue on Estero Blvd on 9/12, it 's called Castaways and is in the same plaza as Loggerheads on the East end of the beach. We're glad to be back and look forward to seeing you soon. As always thanks for your continued support.

August 2009

Some changes are in store as the band approaches it's 2009 vacation break. Our good friend & drummer Steve Gomes will be leaving the band. When we resume playing after our vacation Nick Longobardi will be back on board to fill the vacancy. We all wish Steve the best and he will surely be missed as not only a fine musician but a great guy too. We'll be adding dates in September at "Alli Gators" on Colonial in Ft. Myers, and will have some dates on Saturdays at Jimmy B's.  See the Schedule page. 

July 2009

Well the Dog Days are here to stay for awhile and you can still find us at the usual haunts. Leapin' Lizards on Cape Coral Parkway every Tuesday night from 7 to 11, the Lani Kai, Bert's and Pinchers on the Beach.  We may be breaking in to some new venues in the month's to come so stay tuned. It was great to see our old buddy Graham and we all had a blast playing with him again!  The band will be performing on the Fourth of July at Riverside Park in Bonita Springs, come join in the festivities.

June 2009

We added some Sundays at the Lani Kai to our schedule.  We'll be playing Saturdays at Jimmy B's too. Check it out.  Remember to see us every other Tuesday at Leapin' Lizards on Cape Coral Parkway.   Times can fluctuate so check our  Schedule for changes. Also Graham Fineout will be playing with us for a few weeks in June while our drummer Steve vacations out West. We are expecting him on Thursday the 11th.  It's been awhile and we can't wait to turn him loose upon you again.

May 2009

There have been a few schedule changes. First of all we have added the Lani Kai on Wednesday nights beginning May 20th.  If you like to dance on Ft. Myers Beach come on out & see us there. 

The band had a great time playing at the Ft. Myers River & Blues Fest. The weather was perfect and the crowd was energetic.  All the bands were top notch and the city of  Ft. Myers along with Doc Booth & Brent's Music Headquarters know how to put on a first rate show.  A big thank you from all the band for the cool experience!!!

April 2009

 There have been a few schedule changes. First of all we are no longer playing every other Tuesday at "The Joint" in Cape Coral. We love this venue, and Jeff who hired us to perform there. It was a great couple of years and it had actually evolved into event status.  Unfortunately there is one resident in the towers who did not enjoy the music, motorcycles and reverie.  This person took their case all the way to the halls of Cape Coral Government which has resulted in constant hassles from the police directed towards the management of The Joint, and subsequently towards the band.  This made for a difficult working environment and we chose to move on before matters became worse for all parties involved. We hope you will follow us to Leapin Lizards where we will now be every Tuesday nite. Check our  Schedule for times.

We have also added extra dates at the "new" Jimmy' B's on Ft. Myers Beach.

We will be the headline act at the River & Blues Fest at Centennial Park in Ft. Myers on April 19th. We are slated to go on at approximately 5:30 but get there early and enjoy the other fine groups who will be playing that day.

The Band is proud to announce it has been chosen again as the top band in the Best of Pine Island voting for 2009.  Big thanks to all our loyal supporters!

We are so happy to have Steve Gomes aboard as our drummer check out his bio Steve He brings a lot talent and a wonderful vibe to the table. He's a great addition to our family!

Support the Pine Island Seafood Festival on 3/25 at the German American Club on Pine Island Road.  We will go at noon.

We also would like to send a big hug to our loving friends Janet Kraft & Sharon Conlin who passed away over the recent months.  We love and miss you both a real real lot.
